Hello my name is Alexa and I am a student in the MATC program at URI where I am studying Secondary Education, General Science. I grew up in Jackson Heights, New York and have been living in Rhode Island since 2006 when I began my bachelors degree at URI. As an undergraduate I was an active member of ZTA fraternity as well as an RA in Hopkins Hall for 2 years. I currently have 3 jobs, a Narragansett Girl, a Rev Girl, and a server at a restaurant in East Providence. I live in Pawtucket, RI with my best friend and our dogs. After finishing student teaching and graduating from URI with my masters I plan to get my PhD in Pathobiology so I can study cancer and diseases for the USDA.
